Released a new app, "Popup Widget"!

Try to use popup widget, which is a feature of ssLauncher, in other launchers!

You can create a shortcut to a widget. The widget will appear with a cool animation when clicking the shortcut.

Main benefits of using popup widget:

1. less memory use of launcher
2. better scroll performance of launcher
3. protect widget from touch miss

  2. Hey, just thought I'd let you know that using Pandora as a pop up widget doesn't work well. If you create it while music plays it'll work till you close pandora, but then never again. It won't work at all if you create it and try to use pandora. It may open the app, but the widget sits on the pandora logo and doesn't change. It's also caused pandora and ss launcher to force close on me. So, for now I'm using it as just a normal widget which has been working fine.

    2. The widget works fine on ss if I add it as a widget and then it works fine on other launchers too. It's just when I make a shortcut to the widget it has problems. Is this what you meant?

  3. Even though I use sslauncher I still find Popup Widget useful as it can be invoked as a shortcut by other widgets. It works really well for me but unfortunately everytime I reboot my phone, all the widgets I set up disappear! There seems to be no way for me to save/recover the widgets created by Popup Widget. FYI the popup widgets that I set up in sslauncher shortcuts are ok, i.e. they are still there after reboot. Any idea how to resolve this?
