SquareHome: The easiest way to use your Android!

'SquareHome' is a new launcher application with Windows 8 styles.
Enjoy the usability and beauty beyond Windows 8.

You can use the following features very intuitively with 'SquareHome'.

- create a tile by dragging an application, shortcut or widget.
- resize the tile by dragging right-bottom corner.
- control the size of widget in a tile by clicking the centeral button when resizing it.
- change the style and form of a tile.
- so many forms are supported: auto image, custom image, CPU load, available memory, battery level, missed calls, unread messages, unread Gmails, date/time...
- apply a theme or icon pack easily.
- make tiles groups and set the group label by tapping the header (top area) of it.
- create a folder by dragging the group header (the top area with label).
- easy search for applications, shortcuts and widgets.
- hide useless applications.
- assign behaviors to many gestures.
- other many intuitive features.

I do not explain long. Give it a try. :)

  1. For me it is not possible to download apk (and with APK Downloader too). Only themes and key are accessible for my device in market :( . It is strange, because ssLauncher works on my tablet without problems.

  4. Is this Square home thing different from SS launcher?? If so I see you have a section that says apply icon packs....how can you make it easily accessible for SSlauncher. when i download icon packs from the play store it is not saved in a folder where i can just import them...is it possible you could just make it easier to use select icon packs with ease, instead of applying them one by one.... I really love and support SSlauncher and tell everyone i know about it, but using various icon packs is the only draw back i see about this so far!! keep up the good work and let me know.

  7. In “Gestures” section, under “Preference” menu I try to remove default “down” and “up” gesture to “nothing” and after some time it comes back to default setting and I need to go back and set it up again. Can you please fix it? I have Samsung GT-I9000 with Mackay 1.9.0 custom ROM.

    2. Sorry, I forget to ask you. It is possible to add email notifications, different than existing one?
I am not using the gmail default email reader. I am using the other email client application for all my emails accounts (Gmail, work, etc.) and your launcher doesn’t read/show notifications for this application.

      Thank you.

  8. Thank you, ChYK, for a great app - I gave it four stars on Google Play Store, because of the lack of documentation. I have figured out most things, but these features ffom your description still baffle me:

    - "make group of tiles and set the group label by tapping the header of it."
How do you make a group of tiles? I have tried selecting several tiles and clicking on "Merge", but that just shrinks the group. And what is the header? Tapping above the shrunken group does nothing.

    - "create a folder by dragging the group header."
Dragging the shrunken group does nothing. So, where is the header so I can drag it?

    1. Sorry for the lack of documentation. I will make some video for it.

      - You can create a tile group by the following ways.
      1. dragging a tile to most left or most right side of screen.
      2. or dragging it between two groups.
      3. hold a tile > select 'divide', then the group will be divided two groups
      4. dragging a folder(shrunken group) to the top area with labels.

      - "group header" means the top area with the label.
